Red has provided many Australians with materials handling solutions for over 40years from businesses both large and small from the home handyman, emergency services and some of Australia’s largest retail chains.

Red Australia’s philosophy toward materials handling extends well beyond supplying the required equipment. The company takes an active involvement in increasing efficiencies and productivity, while at the same time reducing the total cost of customer’s materials handling needs while offering improvements to safety with modern and technologically advanced equipment.
History
From the company’s conception in 1964 to its role as an in house service provider to TNT transport group, Red Australia has grown on its forklift heritage.
In 1998, attracted by Red Australia’s unique strength and extensive nationwide presence, Sumitomo Corporation of Japan acquired the company,
adding it to their network of construction, mining and industrial equipment distribution companies globally.
Red Australia Today
Red Australia is the exclusive Australian distributor for Komatsu forklifts, Rite Hite dock and warehouse equipment, PM truck mounted cranes, Bendi articulated forklifts and Baumann side loaders. Red Australia employs over 250 team members. To service a diverse customer base our employees are trained in specialised areas within Red’s business activities and products.
