Red Australia Has “The Answer”
Red Australia’s National Sales and Marketing Manager, Shaun O’Brien says that, following Red Australia’s mutual agreement to no longer distribute Jungheinrich electrics in Australia, Red will re-introduce the Komatsu Battery Electric Range into Australia. “Although our relationship with Jungheinrich dates back to 1989, Komatsu has always been our core product, and when Komatsu released their new electric range, the timing was right to make a sole commitment” O’Brien said. A Long Term Contract has been signed confirming Jungheinrich’s commitment to supply Red and its Customers with Aftermarket Support including Parts, Warranty, Training and importantly, Technical Support. “These new electrics are the answer for customers who are serious about total operating cost, productivity and safety. “The Komatsu AE50/AM50 series will be introduced with 3 and 4 wheel, 1.8tonne-2.0tonne counterbalance units. “The series boasts many advanced features when compared with competing brands and carries an attractive price tag.” Features include: • Total AC System - for reduced maintenance costs • Finger Tip Operator Controls • Side Access battery Removal • Dual Drive, enhancing the turning radius and stability under a number of conditions. • Airtight wet disc brakes that don’t require extensive periodical maintenance except for oil changes which offers an outstanding advantage for fisheries, fresh food markets and cold storage. • Waterproof design • Monitoring system and adjustable individual operator system setup • Standard features include Integral Side Shift, gull lighting including high mounted rear lights, suspension seat and seat belt The first of these models are available now for immediate delivery. |
